Goran
Goran Milicevic is very experienced with youngsters and holds the international title FIDE Master. Goran participated in various tournaments in Canada with great success. In the 1994 he was Metro Toronto Champion. He has coached many successful Canadian Junior champions. Many of his students are Canadian and Ontario Champions by grades and represented Canada on International level. Goran has taught children hot to play the “King of Games” at several schools: Hevergal College, York, Toronto French, Bayview Glen, Allenby, Summit Height, Bedford Park, Peoples Christian Academy, e.g.

GoranNatalia Khoudgarian is Canada’s Women Chess Champion and Canada’s highest ranked Women Chess player. She represented Canada at Women’s Olympiads in 1996- Armenia (2nd board) and in 2006 in Italy (1st board). In 2006 she played at Women’s World Championship in Yekaterinburg.

 

 

In 2003 Nikolai Noritsyn became the champion of Canada under 12, CFC 2435; FIDE 2367, qualified as FIDE Master in 2005 will conduct his master classes at the Camp this year.

Madawaska Chess Camp invites Junior Chess Players (8-16 years old) to participate in our Chess Program 2007 – August 4 through August 25.
If you want to improve your level of play in a fun disciplined environment, this camp is for you. We provide a well-structured program. You will improve your level of play and win many tournaments after this chess camp.

THIRTY HOURS OF CHESS WITH PRO TRAINERS.

Campers are divided into three groups:
Group 1: for students rated 500-750 CMA or 800-1050 CFC
Group 2: for students rated 750-1000 CMA or 1050-1300 CFC
Group 3: for students rated 1000 and up or 1300 and up CFC

Participants will enjoy six hours per day of chess instructions and tournaments (rated by CFC) as well as a variety of both active and creative pursuits.

CHESS CAMP INCLUDES:

  • Students/Master Ratio 10:1
  • 9 a.m. – 10.20 a.m. – chess lesson
  • 10.40 a.m. – 12 a.m. – chess lesson
  • 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. – G/90 tournament, practice games with clocks, with analysis. (Players must write down moves) Educational  program will include tactics and combinations, how to analyze a position, how to formulate a plane, opening ideas, endings, strategy, chess dynamics, games grandmasters and more…
